This year, we introduced some new awards. Here's a brief overview of the 9 award categories available for 2026:


1. Best Air Quality Strategy – | CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD

This award recognises organisations that have implemented innovative strategies or measures that significantly and positively impact air quality for the public. The submitter must demonstrate how the organisation exceeded common requirements and compliance standards, showcasing clear benefits to public health and/or legislation. It is essential to include data and performance evidence, as well as evidence of reductions in CO2 and ultrafine particulate (UFP) emissions, to illustrate the success of these initiatives.

 

2. Best Safety Strategy | CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD 

This award recognises an organisation that has implemented innovative strategies or measures, leading to a significant and positive impact on either staff safety or public safety. The submission should demonstrate how the organisation has exceeded common requirements and compliance standards. It is essential to include data and performance evidence to illustrate the success of these initiatives.

 

3. Most Innovative Fleet Management Strategy | CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD 

The award for the most innovative fleet management strategy will be given to an organisation that demonstrates exceptional use of technology, along with strong organisational and fleet management skills. The organisation must show environmental, economic, and social benefits. It is essential to provide data evidence of reductions in CO2 and ultrafine particulate (UFP) emissions as part of this submission/ or improvements in safety. Proven innovative practices are required.

 

4. Fleet Team of the Year | CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD 

The Fleet Team of the Year award will be presented to a team that has shown exceptional performance over the past twelve months in either customer service or public service. The team should also demonstrate the use of innovative processes related to sustainability, safety, emissions, waste reduction, and human resources. This award recognises teams that have overcome significant challenges or successfully leveraged the skills of all team members while demonstrating collaboration with others. It is open to both public and private sector organisations that manage a fleet, as well as suppliers and manufacturers in the vehicle industry.

 

5. Young Industry Champion | CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD

This award will be given to an exceptional young professional who has demonstrated outstanding performance and introduced innovative practices within an organisation, along with a proven track of growth and significant career advancement. It is open to both public and private sector organisations that manage a fleet, as well as suppliers and manufacturers in the vehicle industry.

 

6. Innovators of the Year | CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD

The Innovators of the Year award will be presented to an organisation that has showcased exceptional use of science, technology, and organisational skills. The recipient must demonstrate innovation that leads to environmental, economic, and social benefits, along with a programme of change that has positively impacted the organisation, industry, and society as a whole. This award is open to both private and public sector organisations, as well as suppliers and manufacturers within the vehicle industry.


7. Industry Personality of the Year
| CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD 

This individual has shown exceptional behaviour and achieved remarkable results that have positively impacted their organisation, leading to a significantly improved service to the public and/or end-users over the past year


8. Fleet Product or Service of the Year | CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD

This award will be presented to the creators/manufacturers of a fleet-related product/ component, or service that has been a game changer for the end user and was launched within the last two years. It should demonstrate proven benefits experienced by clients in areas such as sustainability, emissions reduction, carbon footprint reduction, net-zero transition, safety, cost reduction, and operational performance, underlined by genuine innovation in the manufacturing process. This award is open to suppliers, service providers and manufacturers in the automotive industry. This award does not include vehicles, but fleet-related products or services.


9. Vehicle of the Year | CLICK TO SPONSOR AWARD

The Vehicle of the Year award recognises excellence in five key areas: design and innovation, performance, safety, efficiency, and value for money. Judges will evaluate exterior styling, interior quality, and originality, along with engine performance, handling, and braking capabilities. Safety ratings and advanced driver-assist features are essential, as are fuel economy, emissions, electric vehicle (EV) range, and charging capabilities. Finally, vehicles will be assessed for overall value, which includes purchase price, ownership costs, and long-term reliability. To set a new industry benchmark, the winning vehicle must excel in all categories and have been launched in the last two years.
