Ann-Marie Knegt MCIJ, Creative Director Visie Communications, Editor Fleet Vision International magazine
Ann-Marie has over 20 years of experience editing several B2B magazine titles in the municipal transport, firefighting and industrial fire protection industries. Ann-Marie launched the successful Fleet Vision International magazine, Fleet Vision International – THE SHOW and the Fleet Vision International Awards.
Ann-Marie has organised multiple other events and regularly leads industry panel discussions worldwide. Fleet Vision International magazine is a double award-winning publication aimed at the specialist fleet industry.
Ann-Marie set up Visie Communications with her Business Partner Jason Pidgeon in 2020. Visie means vision in Dutch, and this dynamic agency specialises in highly targeted thought-leadership events for the B2B sector, public relations, media liaisons, and business consultancy. Visie organises the well-established Optimised Waste and Logistics (OWL) Roadshows.
Ann-Marie has an expansive knowledge of air quality, transport and firefighting practices worldwide. She was also a six-time judge member for the International Firefighting Team of the Year Award (Conrad Dietrich Magirus Award) and has been head of the Fleet Vision International Awards judging panel since 2022.
Ann-Marie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists, and in 2023, she was admitted into the prestigious Freedom of the City of London. Recently, she joined the Worshipful Company of Carmen as a Liveryman.

Vince Dignam, Business Performance & Transport Group Manager, City of London Corporation
Vince Dignam has been in the transport industry for over thirty years and has been in the transport industry for over 30 years. His main duties involve coordinating the cleansing, waste, and transport contracts. He is also the ‘O’ licence holder and is responsible for implementing the Corporate Transport Policy. Vince has been involved in three competitive procurement processes for cleansing, waste, and transport contracts and has managed a DSO.
Vince is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), a member of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management (CIWM), a Carmen Liveryman and a Freeman of the City of London.
Since 2008, he has been involved with the Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme (FORS), and the City of London Corporation was one of the first local authorities to gain gold accreditation. Vince is part of the FORS Governance Group (GSAG) and, in 2017, became Chairman of the FORS Executive Group. He is also a CLOCS Champion promoting work-related Road Risk Strategy.

Matthew Daus, President, International Association of Transportation Regulators
Daus is the transportation practice's founder/chair/partner at Windels Marx, a full-service law firm. His NYC public service career included being commissioner/chair/CEO of the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC), Civil Service Commissioner, TLC and Community Development Agency general counsel, Trade Waste Commission special counsel, and human rights prosecutor.
Matt also serves as president of the International Association of Transportation Regulators, Transportation Technology Chair of City University of NY's Transportation Research Center, and NYC Bar Association's Transportation Law Committee Chair.

Peter Goldwasser, Esq, Executive Director, Together for Safer Roads
Peter has two decades of experience in the public and private sectors, helping companies and nonprofits address pressing social issues and positively impact the world. Before TSR, Peter founded the PNG Group, a mission-driven consultancy.
He served as Deputy Director at Cities of Service, a national nonprofit of Bloomberg Philanthropies that helps mayors amplify the knowledge and service of their citizens. He was Chief Program Officer in the Office of Policy and Strategic Planning under former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, directing multi-agency efforts addressing transportation, education, and immigration.

Anne-Marie Penney, Senior Road Safety Policy Adviser, Driving for Better Business/ Programme Lead Road Safety Division, Safety, Engineering and Standards, National Highways
Anne-Marie has worked in road safety for over two decades. She was involved in a life-threatening motorbike crash in 1995, and her passion for reducing road crash casualties and the physical and mental trauma that results stems from this experience.
After 14 years in the private sector working in project management and customer delivery, Anne-Marie joined Kent County Council’s road safety team, where she was the Road Safety Development Manager and led motorcycle safety before managing the Kent and Medway Safety Camera Partnership.
She holds an HND in Accident and Safety Management and has received Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards for the Save 478 Lives casualty reduction programme, the Driving Business – Safely partnership initiative in Kent County Council, and the Driving for Better Business Programme in National Highways.
She has been a trustee of the Eastern Alliance of Safe and Sustainable Transport, facilitating cross-border projects on sustainable transport and road safety. She has hosted the FIA International Road Safety Scholarship in Kent for three years. Anne-Marie sits on the Council of Management for the Association for Road Risk Management.
Working for National Highways since 2017, Anne-Marie leads the Driving for Better Business Programme to raise the standard of work-related road risk management and is the primary contact for the Roads Policing Review work on motorcycling

Emily Hardy, UK Marketing Manager, Brigade Electronics
Emily has been a pivotal force in shaping vehicle safety standards, collaborating with industry stakeholders, advocating to enhance road safety and promoting best practices.
Emily played a key role in the early development of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), contributing significantly to its mission of improving operational efficiency and safety. Her deep industry knowledge and commitment to collaboration led to her appointment to the CLOCS Strategic Governing Board, where she continues to support broader industry initiatives. Emily's advocacy efforts were instrumental in the development of the Direct Vision Standard (DVS) legislation. She has spearheaded initiatives to raise awareness and educate the industry on DVS requirements, organising roundtables, roadshows, and creating valuable thought leadership content.
At this event, Emily will share her insights on global Vision Zero initiatives including across London, Milan and Japan.

Ben Loewenstein, Senior Manager for European Policy and Government Affairs, Waymo
Ben covers the UK, EU, and Australia in areas of advanced mobility, ethical tech, AI, road safety, and the future of transport.
Ben has been with Waymo since February 2021, and before, Waymo worked at the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce (RSA) in London for 7 years. He earned his Masters in International Management from the Global Alliance in Management Education, where he studied in Australia, Belgium, and Denmark.

Richard Turfitt, Senior Traffic Commissioner, Great Britain
Richard Turfitt joined the Health and Safety Executive in 1999 and helped establish their Litigation and Enforcement Advisory team. Richard helped to found the Health and Safety Lawyers' Association and is a serving Justice of the Peace.
Richard Turfitt was appointed Traffic Commissioner for the East of England in May 2008. Richard was appointed Senior Traffic Commissioner in June 2017.
Richard left independent practice in 1997 to prosecute on behalf of the Social Security and Health Departments. 1998 he moved to the Treasury Solicitor's Department to undertake personal injury litigation. He was also responsible for managing the representation of the Prison Service at inquests throughout England and Wales.

Daniel Mc Guigan, Environment, Health and Safety Director – Global Operations, PepsiCo
Daniel is an accomplished EHS Professional with over 25 years of continuous experience across multiple sectors in both domestic and international businesses. He is committed to understanding the needs of key stakeholders and is passionate about ensuring excellence in EHS management.
After graduating from the University of Salford with a BSc(Hons) in Applied Environmental and Resource Sciences, Daniel initially worked in the waste industry and quickly recognised the opportunities presented by developing expertise in both Environmental Management and Occupational Safety and Health. While working, he studied for a postgraduate diploma in occupational safety and health and is a chartered member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH).
Daniel has worked in various business advisory and consultancy roles, specialising in road transport operations and the multimodal transportation of hazardous goods.
Since 2006, Daniel has worked directly in road transport operations in the parcel and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries. Daniel has worked for PepsiCo for 8 years, and PepsiCo operates approximately 80,000 vehicles across its GlobaI Operations.

Darren Judd, Head of Fleet Development, Biffa
Darren has worked in the waste industry since 2007, holding various roles from frontline supervision to large service change projects, contractual and financial management, and moving over to fleet in 2015. He started his career as a diesel technician trained by a large OEM and its suppliers, working on car, van and truck fleets.
Darren is proud to lead a team that looks to the future for all of Biffa's fleet requirements, from systems to assets, and how they can be safe for its staff and the public while reducing the carbon impact of its fleet operations.

John Granby, Chief Commercial Officer, Our Net Energy
John Granby began his career in marketing, he then built a successful temperature-controlled logistics company from scratch before selling out in his thirties. He's subsequently had over 20 years' experience across all segments of the automotive industry, with ten years in trucks.
The last three years have been devoted exclusively to the sale and marketing of both electric and hydrogen electric trucks along with their required infrastructure. Having worked successfully in the UK & I, EU and North American markets, John hopes to guide many of the friends he has made during his career through their transition to net zero.

Simon Brewster, COO, Metier Technologies
Simon has 34 years of experience delivering low and zero-emission energy systems into the transport, marine and power generation sectors.
Today, he is the COO of Metier, rapidly deploying hydrogen-powered commercial transport for immediate and affordable fleet emission reduction.
He was CEO of DolphinN2 for six years, industrialising disruptive low-carbon propulsion systems for commercial vehicles with shareholder IVECO Group. He was previously the Industrial Sector director at Ricardo PLC, from which he span out DN2.
A graduate of Loughborough with a degree in automotive engineering, Simon has worked with hydrogen as a heavy-duty fuel since 2006. He has been a Fueller since 2018 and a Carman since 2024.

Keith Kerman, Deputy Commissioner at the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS)/ NYC's first Chief Fleet Officer
Keith serves 50 agencies, including NYPD, FDNY and DSNY. NYC's fleet is 28,500 units, with $1+ billion in annual expenditures and 1,800 staff. NYC Fleet is a national leader in biofuel, renewable diesel, EV adoption and charging, telematics, fleet safety through Vision Zero, and shared services.
Keith is a permanent civil servant in his 30th year, including 17 with NYC Parks managing Citywide Operations. Keith has now served in senior roles under four NYC Mayors.
2019 Keith received the Sloan Public Service Award from the Fund for the City of NY. This award is often called the Nobel Prize of NY Public Service. In 2021, Keith received a national Climate Leadership Award from the Climate Registry, C2ES, and Bloomberg Philanthropies. In 2022, Keith received a Legendary Lifetime Achievement Award from Government Fleet Magazine. Keith was named to City & State's NY Transportation 100 list in 2022 and 2023.

Asher Moses, CEO, Sherbet, the Electric Taxi Company
Asher has been championing the taxi trade for years amidst an influx of global heavyweights like Uber and Addison Lee. A passionate ambassador for the industry, he had always worked hard to introduce innovative ways to help generate further revenue for drivers, for example, recently launching the first electric black taxi app for bookings.
He is now the owner of the first and biggest fleet of electric black cabs in London. Sherbet has been ranked as one of the fastest-growing businesses in the country, recently confirmed as number 41 within the 23rd annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100. Asher and Sherbet have also received a wealth of recognition, including a nomination for EY Entrepreneur of the Year, winning UK Enterprise Awards, Better Society 2020, and being within the 1000 Business to Inspire Britain. He and his business are now reaping the rewards of a clear-sighted, authentic vision with a solid foundation based on doing well.

Dewi Lane, Senior Bid Manager, Suez Recycling and Recovery, SUEZ
Dewi works on the municipal development team, leading the procurement of local government municipal collection contracts. Recently, he has been successful in retaining the South Gloucestershire collections contract.
Before his career with SUEZ, he spent 12 years working for Monmouthshire County Council, finishing as a Recycling Performance Manager. His role included running HWRC services, the material management contract, the reuse shop, and all compliance elements of the service. He also spent much of his career in operations as an Operations Manager.
